International Networks

e-NIOS participates in leading European research and innovation networks spanning computational biology, immunology, and drug discovery.

MSCA-SE / Horizon Europe

CHIRON - "The role of the non-canonical death receptor signalling in cancer and immune cells" - is an MSCA-SE project funded by the European Commission. The project's main goal is to better understand how tumours evade the immune system and develop strategies to make them sensitive again towards cell death. e-NIOS participates by providing advanced in silico modelling tools based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to develop novel small molecule inhibitors targeting the non-canonical DR-signalling pathway.

Erasmus+ / Sector Skills Alliances

"BioS: Digital Skills on Computational Biology" — approved in the European Framework of Erasmus+ / Sector Skills Alliances Programme. BioS aims at advancing the digital skills of medical doctors through the design, development and delivery of new modular vocational curricula on Computational Biology & Bioinformatics. The purpose is to provide medical doctors with knowledge, skills and competencies that allow them to tackle effectively concurrent challenges in EU healthcare systems.

Marie Skłodowska-Curie / Horizon 2020

DISCOVER is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie and Horizon 2020 project bringing together researchers in cell death signalling, immunology, protein structural chemistry, drug design, bioinformatics and computational biology in a network that exchanges reagents, technologies and knowledge. This cross-sectoral network aims to aid understanding of how the death ligand-death receptor signalling network shapes tumour–immune editing processes.

Network — IRE1 Biology & Drug Discovery

INSPIRED is a network of academic and industry researchers in the fields of IRE1 biology and drug discovery, sharing knowledge and expertise to develop new treatments for cancer and neurodegenerative diseases.

TRAIN-ERS
